  • You still use the good old eee900. Excellent :D

  • Of course! there is nothing better for me on the markets. With my modded 5 cell I get 9 hours and it's the smallest for best mobility.

  • JKK, do you know if there will ever be CDMA versions of those things? That's a cool device and all, but I want to use Sprint instead of 3G. Is there a solution for people that don't use 3G?

  • Sprint sells it too...

  • @MrPchacker1 Yeah it works for the wall charger, but not for the computer plug in.

  • u dnt have 2 do dis i have a mifi for verison and it comes with a wall charger so i turn on the mifi and wait 2 sec then plug it up 2 the wall and the wifi still works

if u need help msg me

  • I tried this hack but the mifi would not charge. Besides cutting the data wires (white and green), was there any specific step that i missed?

    Thank you for your help

  • You can also just cover the data pins (the middle two of the four) on the USB A plug (one into computer) with electrical tape. It's cheap, it's easy and it has the advantage that you can take off the electrical tape and turn it into a regular USB data cable.

Also, you can get a charge only USB cable on eBay for not a lot which would do same job.

  • @hellokitty2007

Only way to charge is via a laptop USB.

All those external batteries and car chargers also fail to charge a mifi.

It's locked out by the firmware.

  • That trick will NOT work with the latest firmware.

The mifi MUST be able to detect the data leads in the USB in order for the battery charge to activate.

Hence, using the wifi while charging is NOT a possibility.

Corporate America is much too greedy and devious to allow 5 people to use the mifi while it's being charged.

  • This worked for me! I'm posting from my Virgin Mobile MiFi 2200 right now. =) Thank you!!

  • This video doesn't play!

  • Just tried it with my Sprint MIFI. Took 5 min and works perfectly

  • this works with my Novatel MiFi 2352, thank you!!!
