  • what wood did you use

  • just normal plywood and some scrap pine

  • Is the sail made with a sewing machine?

  • my friend hadthe sail lying around in his basement but I've seen other people make theirs out of tyvek and duct tape

  • I can't really remember but I think it cost about $200 for all the materials.

  • The song is "Six Months in a Leaky Boat" by Ted Leo and the Pharmacists from their 2004 mini album Sharkbite session. You can find it on iTunes.

  • youdahoe inotdaho

  • @poopingpenguin1 You can put a motor on this easily

stick to a lower power motor with this design though. 5hp tops.

  • wanna share the blue prints?

  • Hey I'm thinking on making a boat like this can I use just regular plywood and then paint it also coult I put a small motor in this

  • video well done.

  • @TuscanchickanSlayer you can use fiberglass cloth strips + epoxy resin (use a 'no-gloss' kind of epoxy). Make sure the epoxy is made for use with fiberglass cloth (some are made to be used alone as adhesives).

  • not sure if you remember but what kind of fasteners did you use? silicon bronze or stainless steel? also what gauge did you use? (#14, #16?). I'm getting supplies together for mine, Thanks!

  • i built 1 last summer based on that design. i used 1/4 inch ply (5mm) and sealed it wit torch on roof felt it worked but was not a perminent boat i just wanted to try it. it cost about 50 euro for the wood

  • how did you seal the plywood?

  • hello ! could you please tell me how long the boat is and how wide if thats ok,grant Thanks
