Pro Coro Canada Live Series. O sacrum convivium by French composer Oliver Messiaen. I apologize for the "hiss" of the recording, this was not a digital recording and the composition requires such gentle and quiet singing the hiss is especially noticeable. • severely... it's really just damn near perfect... you made me cry...

  • @tenortobe not sure if we should apologise or not for making you cry. Music stirs the soul and music well done elicits a response of some kind whether we want to respond or not, that's the magic of music. Thank you for your honesty, it is a beautiful composition. Please check out more of our recordings on YouTube, there are plenty now and I keep adding more.

  • Not great acoustics, but the blend and and intonation are excellent. A very difficult and lovingly rewarding piece of music to master.

    Five Stars.

  • Its near perfect to what I expect the song to sound like. I would want to milk some of the chords though.

  • I cannot like this recording because the tempo is EXTREMELY fast.

  • i never knew that a song could not have a time signature until i sang this.

  • I love this. So much. I'll be singing this with my university's chamber choir at the Piccolo Spoleto festival in Charleston this summer... it's the most difficult piece I've ever encountered in a choir. And I'm a first soprano. Talk about a challenge. Yeesh

  • My favorite version of this piece on Youtube! With better acoustics and quality of recording it would have been close to perfect.

  • built from the top downwards.
