  • That mouse sounds like Timothy from "Dumbo"

  • They were best friends

    @bofish100

  • Hopefully

  • @teiknimyndir -- No, Tom and Jerry had been around for some six years already . They debuted in 1940's "Puss Gets the Boot", though weren't billed by that name till their second or third picture.

    The WB shorts "Stooge for a Mouse" and "Bugsy and Mugsy" both use a similar plot concept.

    Well, at least Herman didn't get strung up by the neck for his trouble. I thought that dog was going to hang the little varmint for sure....

  • @Designandrew was yours on that "Greedy Humpty Dumpty" vhs? Mine was. I wish I still had that tape.

  • This Dog looks like a Voice of Bluto, and his friend Popeye.

  • Those Bad Dogs, and Bad Cats, they both kill each other!

    Herman told that Cat, and Dog, their Natural Enemies

  • watched this a hundred times when i was a kid.. we had it on VHS back in the 90's

  • naturual enemies....knife fights....death...alcohol....the old folks were right all along. what kids grow up with nowadays turns em into pussies. :D

  • Hey cool, I've never seen this before but I noticed this was made in 1946, the first Tom and Jerry cartoon was made in 1947. I wonder if this had any influence ;)
