  • That's why I use a wallpaper scraper (or something similar). And I carefully apply the laminate to avoid both bubbles and crinkles. Practice, practice practice (sort of like piano) helps as well.

  • I only use Duck brand Clear Laminate. I usually purchase it at my local Wal Mart in the household items aisle where you find contact paper for shelf covering.

  • If you were to peel back the laminate, would it damage the cover?

  • @TwilightFlip I've never tried that. And after awhile, I believe it forms a permanent bond.

  • To protect hardcover dust jackets, do a Google search for Brodart jacket covers.
