Tried the 2007 Côtes du Rhone E.Guigal...complete crap. I had to dump the bottle after a couple sips. I'm never spending less than $50 on a bottle ever again.
I may need to try that '06 St. Cosme Valbelle Gigondas.
Question of the day answer: Biggest eye opener... Got laid off/fired "work force reduction". 40 years old, educated, a beautifull wife, 4 kids and a mortgage. Poof. nada nothing. no income. I realized that I was doing it Wrong! So instead of looking for work I started working on my own business online. I have not made a penny yet but I am absolute and determined. If i fail, my family fails with me. so i have no choice but to succeed.

Gigondas lovers need to seek out Pierre Amadieu's Grand Romane. At $19, it's a steal. Amazing complexity for the price point.
