Wellington Hunter Derby.

Kelsie Thatcher & Sublime were both okay!
Sublime later on won almost everything in several hunter divisions with Jessica Springsteen. Kelsie Thatcher just completed the George Morris young rider clinic, with George Morris himslef! Which I got to watch ^_^

  • Honestly? Rider error. Everyone makes mistakes, you gotta give the horse credit, it jumped the friggin jump, even with the beyond shitty distance, now I'm not saying that I find perfect distances to every jump (TRUST me, I don't), but GOD, what an HONEST and well-natured horse to even put in his/her all and jump the jump! *Applause* for the horse.

  • It actually looks like she moved him up too much.

  • @xoxSherwoodxox Yeah I think she did too :)

  • ouch your her horse might need a martingale

  • OMG that was terrible how high were the jumps glad they were okay

  • she totally ran at that jump

  • I know this rider personally and trust me shes amazing. everyone makes mistakes. its called "being human" so get over yoursleves

  • omg that horse is stunning. omg "Igot it on tape!"

  • I agree you moved him up way to much to just sit there and wait for the closing stride make a decision girl!!! however we all make mistakes and i cant say i havn't had plenty awful distances myself :P

  • Huge distance= bad results.....some worst then others.

  • That was a little long... Just a little

  • OMG! wow....she could have REALLY hurt that horse or gotten hurt herself. they are BOTh VERY lucky. I have seen a bunch of those where rider doesn't get up, and worse, the horse doesn't....or does but there's a bunch of blood. I would way rather take a chip or refusal than swim my horse across something. these horses are too stupid sometimes, they want to please us, and look what happens.....
