The E.O. Green School shooting refers to the shooting and murder of Lawrence "Larry" King (January 13, 1993 - February 12, 2008), a 15-year-old student at E.O. Green Junior High School in Oxnard, California, United States, on February 12, 2008. Fellow student Brandon McInerney is currently being charged with murder and his lawyer is seeking a relocation of the venue. It was alleged that the suspect's motivation for the crime was that King was gay and had asked McInerney to be his Valentine, and as such, the shooting was deemed a hate crime murder by prosecutors.
At approximately 8:15 a.m., on February 12, 2008, an eighth grade 15-year-old boy, identified as Lawrence Fobes King ("Larry") was shot in the head in a computer lab classroom. King was transported to St. John's Regional Medical Center and was listed in serious condition. Examiners had declared King brain dead. King was kept on life support until February 15, 2008, so his organs could be donated. It was reported that King was shot because he was openly gay and sometimes dressed in a "feminine" manner. Prosecutors have discussed charging the alleged shooter, 14-year-old McInerney, with premeditated murder with enhancements for the use of a firearm and commission of a hate crime.

In all this game, the devil is losing and at the end will be accused of everything because GOD don’t want any rivals. Conclusion: live at the full in the freedom of GOD (praying in a right form, following the INSTRUCTIONS in the Bible - keeping the 10 commandments - including keeping the Saturday as the 7th day etc.) instead of in the incapacity and limited power of devil because he is just a temporary puppet. Jesus Christ is the savior and hope.

If Larry King were a girl but did all the same exact things, I doubt anyone would be commenting on here about sexual harassment. Last I checked, flirting was not an excuse for murder.

pekkle007: I completely agree with you. I believe Brandon was being harassed and had no one to turn to. The fact that he killed Larry is tragic, but could have been prevented. It seemed like Larry was too open with his feelings, and he knew he would get attention for it. I don't understand why guns are legal in the U.S. though, because it sends a terrible message to kids of that age.

Well, I agree, there was no right for Larry to keep pushing Brandon with the sexual comments. And he was ASKING for it by wearing women's clothing. I would be extremely embarrassed if I were in Brandon's position, but how he thought murdering Larry was the only solution I have absolutely no idea. Lets just say this is why guns are illegal here in Australia...
