Having grown in up in State College, I heard many of the rumors surrounding Egg Hill. I've tried personally to verify any of the rumors and even consulted the Centre County Historical Society. The rumors are not true. Try to find any firm evidence of any murder going on, newspaper, historical evidence. There isn't anything to corroborate these charges. Try getting better sources than this blond girl.

When was the church built? Were no records kept at this time? If this is what happened and, according to your story, everyone involved died, how do we know what happened? Why didn't you interview someone other than the caretaker who doesn't believe in it? You are spreading stupidity and should be beaten for it.

All you had to do was go to the goddamn library and museum and do some real research, instead of leaving these stupid hypothetical questions up and asking two idiots from State College who don't know their asses from holes in the ground.

I grew up in Aaronsburg (5 miles down the road) and my dad ran the Penns Valley Historical Museum for 20 years. There was never any mass murder at Egg Hill. There are no newspapers mentioning this, no records of any mass deaths, nothing. This legend is untrue, but the vandalism at Egg Hill has given the locals nothing but headaches for decades. Kids used to go up there and get drunk, smoke dope, and graffiti the old church. Give Egg Hill a rest. There's nothing there.

whats so bad about going in here? its abandon and its rotting on its foundation and looks like shit. so why is this old man saying how much of a crime it is for kids to check it out? does he really think this creepy place will ever be used again?

as I understand it once in a while they hold weddings and functions at egg hill church to keep it alive ,,,But from the looks of that church is it safe for people to go in there ,,,looks like its falling apart,,,could be hazardous,,,,but I love the history of it sad as it is ,, true or not,,,it still has a place in history,,,are there any updates on this old church ,,,has any one checked with old police records of any tragdys that may have happened,,
