Mine swing the swing lock at the top , but he has'nt figured out that lock yet !!! so thats how I keep him in at the moment..LOL they are the best birds in the world though.

omg i have a quaker parrot lucy and thats the exact same kind of lock! If our derbyan parrakeet had that cage she'd be out tops 5 sec

lol he's got it down in a couple seconds. I've had a couple birds learn to escape so I had to get those vertical sliding doors instead of latches. And if I can't find one I use those mountain climbing clips. I discovered my IRN kept escaping because she bent out the latch figured out how to lift it up and would use her feet too shove the door open. But then when she leaves it closes behind her so then she's stranded!

i love how he taps his beak in communication. very silly baaard!!! One of my all time fav's is of him and Harley in the shower making noises.
