A slideshow presentation of my recent visit to the New York City Transit Museum in Brooklyn and to Ellen's Stardust Diner in Manhattan. The diner is owned by Ellen Hart who was a Miss Subway. Enjoy and please feel free to comment!

  • When I lived in Brooklyn I had always wanted to go to the Transit Museum, but for one reason or another I never did, so I really enjoyed your slide show!

    Love those old ads also.

And that plate of food from Ellen's looked delicious!

  • @jaemel1 Yeah it was a lot of fun...my brother & me spent most of the day there...and Ellen's..Wow...singing waiters and waitresses and all that good old nostalgia...the outside of the restaurant was done up like a subway car. Thanks Joe.

  • Yay! The R40's were there! Nice presentation, btw.

  • @mtattrain Thanks for taking the time to leave a reply...that was a fun day - exploring the old subway cars. Glad you liked the presentation & thanks again. - Jerry

  • Those photos brought back memories of when I first visited the museum with my dad and brother in the mid 90's. It is such a fascinating place. I may go and visit the museum again someday.

  • @writerpencil Sure.
