This is my collection! So far!!! I'll append what I have later. By all means, this will not be the last I talk about the sms, or demo these games.

I'll take requests in the comments.

  • The Amiga version of California Games was awesome, but I also had it on Master System as well and it was pretty good on that too.

  • @colliric

I played it and was surprised at how aweful and unappealling it looked. but the gameplay is there and once you get the drift it quite addictive. :S

  • I remember I had to mail in to get a "special game" when I bought a certain amount of SMS games or something. that secret game I was sent was Double Dragon. A lot of people seem to like to rip it apart these days because of the slow down and what they consider stiff sloppy controls but when I got my hands on it as a we lad I thought it was the most bad assed thing on earth....led me down the path to Final Fight and Street Fighter two.

  • @MMZen

Thats neat that they would offer such great game. I remember back in the day I loved a similar game for the nes called super dodge ball. Back in the day I didn't notice the flicker or the slowdown. I still want it though and desire to pick it up. Double dragon on sms still has two player and that makes it worth playin today while the the first dd on nes feels like half a game. Final fight had the same problem. What's the deal with 1 player brawlers?

  • @MMZen

Retro Gamer rated it as the best ever port of the Game, better than the Nintendo version, which was only rated 7th best.

  • @colliric

I think that it's biased opinion against single player games. I like rinygamegame's opinion. but will side with the sms version and the coop, genesis version sucks(played it finished it and look at my friend and said we are never play this again.). the turbo graphics version are pretty beefy they might be fun to play.

If you haven't tried it, have a look at quartet great 2 player game :D

  • you do'nt own phantasy star? i say you must get it if you like rpgs

  • Nice Collection. I like sufari Hunt, myself, but I also like Zaxxon 3-D. The game play is amazing when you have those 3-D glasses on. It really does look like the stuff comes out at you!

  • @enofr

    This is a great comment.

Time soldier and segaia are on my list. So is the european Ninja gaiden and terminatorVSrobocop games. I need some sonics. And something brazilian, those guys had some crazy late ports of games.

One day someone will port the gamegear megaman.

  • One of the things that made me want a sega CD was it had the best version of Final Fight at the time. Probably a dumb reason to plunk down all that scratch for an a system that was way too expensive and had far too many bad games than good but It was the next best thing version buying the arcade version.
