  • @emmalee2225 You can call him Shirley for all I care. It's not your enthusiasm that's offensive, it's your testimonial that wasn't based on facts. BTW Proby's never said I Apologize for anything, he just sang the words to make a buck. The same as he did with this song.

  • @ hobbestoo.I have sent you a full and frank account of knowing Jim through personal and family contacts. If my enthusiasm offends you,as Jim would say,I Apologise.

  • @emmalee2225 Your channel shows you're in the United Kingdom and age 40. You said you knew PJ Proby as a superstar and "through his best" even though you weren't born until 1971. That's interesting.

How many true southern gentlemen do you know and where did you meet them? Do they all openly brag about having been arrested regularly for public drunkenness or about accepting cash bribes from large companies?

  • I have met and known, Jim( thats his real name) through his best and worst. at all times, he has been the true, southern, gentleman that you see on the outside. too much too soon?? Would you have been any different? I Doubt it.. He was a superstar. How could he not be, with such vocal ability and looks?

  • His first hit came too easy in England and he thought he was a superstar. A case of too much too soon, alcohol and arrogance ruined him. He's been drawing state benefits for over 25 years and didn't stop drinking till he got scared when his heart stopped. His promoters claim he has character because he sips tea now and belittles other artists - they call it telling it like it is. He's got no class and never did.

That's great PJ can send himself up like that, Shows his strong character and personality which you have none of, Tell me a singer who never forgets a few words from time to time you clown, He never missed 1 word when i watched him in the Elvis show this year, and i was at the very 1st show where he was singing many songs he's probably never even sang live before, now lets to you comment about that ????

  • @theBESTelvis PJ hasn't been live since the 60's. I saw him at a show in 2006, at least the other artistes on the bill were worth seeing. I heard he wasn't invited back on that tour. A mate saw him early this year and said he made bad jokes about his court case and forgot the words to songs. I don't call that entertaining.

  • @kendall156

Twisting whats been said again , like you always do.

go watch him LIVE !! forget the cds for a minute, your comments are pathetic

  • @theBESTelvis You agree those CD's aren't worth the plastic they're burnt on, eh? It appears John Morris is trying to unload his inventory at 10 quid a pop. I've seen PJ's 2011 Promo video as well. The one that shows him on stage singing with a loud band and a bunch of backup singers and trying to do Elvis songs. He's not brilliant even in his advert! I don't throw good money after bad.

  • @kendall156

GO SEE PJ LIVE HE'S BRILLIANT, You've maybe not liked the albums since Legend album because they haven't had the huge input and production that a huge record company can plough into them, But for me...live's where its at, GO SEE HIM..
