A pair of red-legged partridges appeared in our garden one day last year and looked like they were going to nest in our unplanted flower bed! We are a couple of miles outside the M25, north-west of London. There is no sound on this clip as I was standing in our kitchen and all you could hear on the original was our fridge.

  • its not a chukar, it is a red legged/french partridge. chukars have a solid black neckline whereas red legged partridges has a freckled one.

    - an experienced owner of red legged partridge pair.
