Loved this album & Still Do! This was the time of creative music as well as Afrocentric & Spanish/Caribbean Coffee Houses, poetry slams, etc; Amel & Bryce were on point.
This album was Soooo much more than " Tell Me".. It did not get promoted the way it should.. Their label dropped the ball, there should've been more heavy rotation on the airwaves as well as music videos.
I remember Amel working in a boutique in Center City Philadelphia when this first dropped.. Of course she quit a little

I feel like I'm on the J train on my way to see my cousin in BK. It's a mild, but chilly October night. I have my Tim's on with a cute shirt and fitted jeans, leather jacket. This song is playing on my Sony Portable CD player. I get off the train, look at the midnight blue NY sky, head to the bodega and get a dutch. lol
I am going too far with this, but you get the picture. Good music has the power to do that. It takes you back to a special time when a certain song was playing.
