Hi! Dr. Lam. How far is your clinic from the airport? Are there motels nearby? Do you offer a package or something, like for example that will include pick-up and drop-off from airport and or assistance with motel arrangement. Do you accept care credit or offer some form of financing?How soon can you start coloring your hair again post-op? What if other doctors refuse to remove the sutures due to liability concerns?Thanks much! I am seriously planning to to this kind of procedure next year....

@XTNARN 1. about 20 to 25 minutes. 2. yes, very inexpensive hotels nearby with free shuttles to the office. 3. we do not cover travel expenses but we can help arrange delivery and pickup. 4. yes we accept care credit. 5. 2 weeks after for coloring. 6. you should probably not have that issue. you can probably go to prima care. check first before having the procedure. :)

hi i was wondering do u need any tissue expanders? an also would this work for foreheads that stick out? i have a wide forehead and it also sticks out....

@love020799 absolutely no need for tissue expanders. that would only be for major hair loss and tissue trauma cases. thanks for the question.

@horselover4033 hi, sorry, no discount for out-of-towners. i have a large percentage of my patients who travel from afar. the cost depends on how much i am doing and how much hair you have in the donor hair for me to do it. it would be about 10 to 11k ish. you can stay one day and leave if you have someone to remove sutures at 10 days. any local doc can do that. if you would like a phone consultation with me after sending photos, just call 972-312-8188. :)

1. the hair that is removed will not be missed because the removed hair is closed.

2. yes, if you completely shave your head you can see a line.

3. yes, it is permanent but you will lose hair around what is transplanted and may require more sessions.
