More great hair from the 1980s. Diane's ("Where Images Are Made") was a Westside New York hair-weave establishment that promised to "make you look like you've always seen yourself." Later, their tagline was copped by the Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black for the bizarro-world rock hit "Oh Diane."

I used to watch "Black News" with my late grandfather every Saturday night on WNEW Channel 5 in New York and they would show this commercial EVERY WEEK. My grandfather would crack up at this commercial every time. Seeing it again after all these years makes me think of him. Thanks for bringing back a very happy memory.

My boss' name is Diane. You KNOW I say this every time I see her! She didn't grow up in NY and thinks I'm crazy.

I was about 10 yrs old when they started airing this commercial on TV. Me and some of my friends used to tease our other friend because his mom's name was Diane. We would see him and go "Oh, Diane." Back in the 80's, if a woman told you her name was Diane, the first thing you thought of was this commercial.
