Flight deck video HEATHROW AIRPORT London flight deck video

I had the great pleasure of being invited into the flightdeck of a Lufthansa flight that I was on in March 2001. For the landing into London Heathrow Airport. I had been into the flight deck earlier in the flight, not long before seatbelts had to be fastened for the landing a stewardess came down to me and told me the Captain wanted to see me as sooon as the fasten seatbelts for landing came on, when I re visited the flight deck and the Captain asked me if I would like to join them for the landing, of cause I said yes, so sat in the jump seat just behind the Captain and First officer I was in for one hell of a experiance, it was also amazing listening in with headphones to the ammount of other air traffic in the area awaiting to land or take off from hetahrow. You may spot a aircraft on the ground in this video with smoke coming from it, that was a fire training exercise by heathrow airports fire department
