Rav Moshe spoke up about this during his weekly parsha shiur that year, and he said that he's amongst the minority of orthodox rabbis who speak out against molestation and the rabbinic claim that a rabbi needs to be consulted before a claim of molestation goes to the police

@feldman99 Rabbi Soloveichik is a very good man. Besides, let's not take away from this important point just so we can take the opportunity to put someone else down. The focus needs to be on the Rabbi's message. Making comments like that take the focus away from what is trying to be conveyed.

I want to commend Rav Moshe Soloveitchik for his heart felt stand on this issue. We need more like him. Both in the Jewish community, and in the world.

People ARE taking positive action on the proposals TO TAKE ACTION!
At this holiday of taking responsibility and "cleansing the temple to bring in the light"...may we as a nation come back to terms with taking responsibility from within and without as OUR FINAL SOLUTION with Hashem's help.
