Egypt court convicts food price protesters - 15 Dec 08

A special court in Egypt has convicted 22 people for taking part in riots in the city of Mahalla in April.

The clashes were the worst civil violence in more than thirty years in Egypt, with demonstrators venting their anger against soaring food prices.

Unbelievable where you can see peoples brought to the court treated like rats in the cages not humain, this is Egypt where all Egyptians call it the mother of the world, in my eyes this mother must be very bad, we are living in 2009 and Egyptians are living in the 1930 peoples doesnt even have bread to eat it's very bad. Their government is dictatorship in Egypt 90% of the population from 80 million live under poverty I don't wish to anybody to experience it.

Egypt NEEDS Revolution badly, yo. Mubarak been in power longer than I've been alive. It's past time for the people of Misr to take power over their lives from this dictator - Mubarak is one of the foulest leaders in Afrika (and most Afrikan and Mid-East prezidents are foul) and the whole 3rd world. Time for huriyah!
