@AnthonyJ350 thanks man!!!! i havent tried it will a car batt...but i had it hook up in my house becuz my car is getting worked on soo i pulled everything. sub amp headunit... and it was heating up rather quickly...but now since i watched this my sub is running cool!! thanks man!!

@ChronicNateTV Honestly I wasn't using the best multimeter. That particular sub had two voice coils rated for 4 OHMS each so it should have registered 8 in theory. Or the parts used in the sub weren't exactly to spec. There will be small discrepancies from time to time.

hey, im 15 and was thinking about my first car... i was thinking its gonna be a short bus with sub woofs in the back, would this actually work? would i need to get a professional to do it? a responce would be much apprciated thanks

@zac2886 For sure, subs in any vehicle will make the system sound better. Having a professional do the job is always recommended, because they can match the gear appropriately and set it up properly giving you the most out of the gear you paid for.
How were you picturing your system in your head??? Just so I can help steer you in the right direction.

Very basic! Your doing it wrong faggot. you need to put the coils together the take ground the first coil and power from the 2nd coil on other side.
