Just a few riffs that I've recorded over the past few years, and thought now that I play the drums, I would add a drum track.

The intro piece was created using only a guitar and a Digitech RP250 Guitar Processor.

  • k, thought about gettting this drum set. . . . what will i need to record with it? all i want to do is just drum covers for youtube. i want them decent quality tho

  • I use Music Maker 12 Deluxe from a company called Magix, and you can get it online for about $60..but all you would really need is "Audacity". It's free to download and works great.

Run a splitter from the headphone jack on the kit to the pink jack on your computer, and you're ready to record.

    Hope that helps.

  • Awesome dude! I loved it. You had me head bangin at 6:00a.m. Rock on!

  • Lol..Thanks, Dicedrum.

  • yeah, i cant remember those from even 3 days ago, that's why i always make sure i save my experimental patches. you never know when you might need them!

  • Thanks, Phil. I'm blaming the older brother for the psychedelic bent..lol

One of these days I'll attempt to write a proper song, mate...maybe. ;)

  • The 1st bit to 0:59 in particular blew me away!! How cool was that! I am off to play with some effects right now you rock'n'roll phsycedelic mofo!

3rd piece is also a chunky filthy riff!! Combined with what sounds like a casio keyboard and synth'd cowbell it is mental!! Love it!!. Really! 5*

  • Thank you, Shane. Your comments are greatly appreciated, my friend.

I can't remember the patches (factory or otherwise) that I used, but I do remember cranking up the delay to infinite and just experimenting with different sounds up and down the neck with a pick and fingers.

This track is actually about 3 years old, so it's hard to pinpoint what exactly I did then. You know, with the brain cells depleting, and all..lol
