I am a cancer survivor. Diagnosed at 20 and am now 34, been off treatment now since last July. It really, REALLY bothers me when people tell me I wouldn't have made it without God. I lived through Hell. Sweat, cried, and bled many years fighting. I wouldn't have made it without ME, my doctors, those who loved me.
I give no thanks. This is (was) a fight with few people, and it's extremely belittling and disrespectful for many for thanks to be given where it is not earned.
