Mega Man X4 Zero Playthrough - Web Spider (02/14)

I took damage in a few places where I really shouldn't have in this one (including once during the boss fight), but otherwise it went fairly well.

These videos are not intended to be a speed run or perfect playthrough of the game. It's mainly just to demonstrate my techniques (which aren't really anything special) for completing the game with Zero. I mostly made this because I was bored, and because after hearing people talk about how hard this game is with Zero all the time, I figured it'd be convenient to have video demonstrations of how I do things handy. I usually tend to make excessively stupid mistakes as soon as I try to record anything, but I think these turned out decently.

This is the original PlayStation (PS1) version of Mega Man X4, running on a PS2 connected to my PC. Record with Windows Movie Maker 2 in Windows XP SP2.

hey when you say collection u mean it has all the games in one and is it still selling in stores?

Yup, it has Mega Man X1-6 and that "Battle & Chase" thing, and is available for PS2 and GameCube. Should still be able to find it, I would think.

Wait a sec... I have the Mega Man X Collection for PS2 and on the back it says 1-2 players... Does anyone else here have Mega Man X Collection for PS2?

I have the collection as well, and that's referring to the bonus unlockable game "Mega Man Battle & Chase", a PlayStation racing game (based on the Mega Man Classic series, not the X series) previously unreleased in the US. It does have multiplayer racing, although I don't know the details because I haven't messed with it much. (don't particularly care for the game myself)

Very nice. I just got this game today and I couldn't beat this boss but your strategy has helped me. Thanks. Oh and btw, are there any Mega Man X games that are multiplayer? My friend told me that X4 is multiplayer after you've beaten the game but I'm not sure...

Cool, glad it helped! As for multiplayer, none of the games in the X series are multiplayer, unfortunately.

I think X7 was horrible, Megaman should never be in 3d, but X8 wasn't bad, but Capcom did get a bit lazy after X4.

the only boss that was a problem for me in this game was colenel with zero he is so hard

and x7 was kinda boring and the tutorial in the beginging was wasteful and x8 was pretty good but not a good as x4/5

X6 was clearly rushed...It was the worst out of X1-X6 easily. I couldn't believe how half assed Sigma looked at the end and how poor the fight was. Alot of the levels were totaly irrating and frusturating as well.

I'm not a big fan of X5 either really....seriously, time based levels? Not to mention the controls were worse(not as bad as X6's)

. X1 is the cream of the crop, along with X2 and X4. X3 was just 'ok'

Havent played X7 or X8....I hear they'r pretty bad ;p

Megaman X6 is the hardest, but I like Megaman X5 the best.

I don't think X6 actually SUCKS. It's a mediocre game. I never bothered to finish it.  It just comes off as awful when you compare it to the greatness of the Mega Man games that came before it. X6 in my opinion doesn't quite devolve into a low enough level to classify as suckage, though. It certainly doesn't live up to its name, though; I have to admit, comparing it to other Mega Man games, it falls way, way short. And it's not GOOD even taken by itself. X7 and X8 are even lower, IMO.

I think i should stopped with X5, but after X5...mega man sucked big time....But I want to know why they stopped the mm legends series :(
