Hope you enjoy my interpretations of "Moon River" (Breakfast at Tiffany's) & "Tammy" (Tammy and the Bachelor [Debbie Reynolds]). I have been in a sombre mood for a couple of weeks, hence this music. Best enjoyed in the evening, lights down low, a Gin/Martini cocktail with plenty of ice, 2 crushed cardamon pods and a small pinch of Saffron - heaven in a glass! The music becomes infinitely more enjoyable after 2 or 3 glasses!!

  • Well its put me in a mellow mood but judging by the video notes shouldn't this be listed under food and drink? Very relaxing, Mike.

  • @geoff1945 Thanks for listening Geoff - I had one or two before I played, it does wonders for the nerves!!

  • @Delmontedel - Come on, Mike! You are only punching a few buttons and fiddling with a few keys. What's to worry about? LOL

  • @geoff1945 The trouble is, at this speed I have more time to make mistakes, and boy oh boy, do I make them!

  • superbe !!! j'adore ,une petite pensée a toi quand je joue avec mon "fr3" que j'ai recu le 20 mai .

    Amicalement laurent

  • @ImaLanger Of course I wouldn't ignore it!! :) I love Irish people haha!! You're more than welcome, it's always good to hear something a bit different. :)

  • This is really beautiful - thank you so much for sharing this!! I really love your interpretation of it. :)

  • An eminently atmospheric portrait, Mike, of a time and a place which cannot be erased from precious memory. Music can be an event, a journey, a transcendent trip beyond the tangible....and you take us there in splendid fashion. The dreamy, transparent majesties offered here are reminiscent of the high production values and gifted set design of the cinema masterpiece, "Casablanca." Just as Hal Wallis and director Michael Curtiz bring a great screenplay to life, so do you add color & dynamics!

  • wow

  • high lovely choice of songs you sound great keep them coming good luck Des

  • @Delmontedel - I play* a Yamaha keyboard (single finger chord style) and I'm tempted to play it slowly and then speed up the recording! I guess doing that live would make you look like Charlie Chaplin!

    * couldn't think of a more accurate description.
