The drumming and the guitar over the first part when you can see the moon has taken all the suspense away. It was better with just creepy piano playing. Also the singing is much quieter now. Sorry. The original is a hundred times better.

I always thought this song should have been a hit first on the charts before being offered up to children. When I listen to this mix I think of what could have been. A chance meeting between David Gilmore and Pete Townsend/ Roger D.
Listen again to the intro. Does it not remind you a little of Pink Floyd? The core of the song then sounds like something The Who would come up with including the slightly dirty lyrics.
As for the drumming? Keith Moon let loose at his best.
Or perhaps not. :)
