@mavamQ White collar scam artists don't need overcoats. Rossi already sells licenses for reseller-rights for €100k (!) without any independent verification of his claims. The guy has even rejected an offer from Dick Smiths. The offer consisted of a simple, calorimetric measurement - without disclosure or acquisistion of any right. Magical machine inventors always find investors, because humans seem to turn off their brains, whenever fantastical claims are expelled and high profits are promised.

I'm certainly hoping it's real, but why, if he has all this free heat (as someone else pointed out), does everyone in his laboratory need to where an overcoat?

Maybe is he a bit optimistic,but knowing that the technology works, the price is not crazy. LENR reactor is very simple,much more than a combined cycle heating.
See the one of Defkalion.they add many safety/management things, but the core it self is a piece of metal, holes for H and Ni, some heating resistors, water pipes in the metal.
short guaranty is not enough;such device should last for few decades;anyway with low cost, it is profitable in few years.
anyway defkalion look more serious.
