  • @gosh great question. You can have metallic bonds between unlike metallic atoms. This is called an alloy.

  • Quick question: Do metallic bonds only occur between the same metallic atoms? Like, the diagram showed bonds between the copper atoms. Can you have different metallic atoms attracting to one another??
