Some people go through life learning more than they thought they ever would...about a disease or two that affects them. Some patients know more about invisible disabilities than do their health care professionals. Never be afraid to educate yourself on your disease, and stand up for yourself when you know that something is wrong.

  • What an awesome endeavor! I'd be honored to help in any capacity! <3

  • If you have been disabled and/or a caregiver, and you know Invisible Disabilities and the issues surrounding it, please make yourself known to VMD. Our goal is to recognize that sometimes, especially in cases with a more rare disease, the patients know more than the doctors. It is no one's fault...it just happens due to illness. Don't feel bad if you are not mentioned....just start doing some video replies and/or send a message. Participate in our efforts and show yourself to us. LoLv.

  • Congratulations!
