[SG Classic] Still Got The Blues

I want to know if this Gibson has humbucker routes underneath the pick guard. There is a Brand new one hanging at the Guitar Center over here where I am for $899.00(with out case) I just want to wire in a nice set of WCR Humbuckers I have . I'm just skeptical about whether, or not the routes underneath are the same as any SG with HUMS.. Anyone out there know?BTW the SG Classic I played today just like this one here had a Killer Large Neck, and with the smooth binding really felt inviting. Nice

It is not routed for humbuckers underneath, you'd have to get some work done. Why not buy a SG Special or Standard if you're looking for a SG with humbuckers?

I'm using a B52 AT112 in this video; a lot of the smoothness came from boosting it with a Bad Monkey. One of the best sounding amps I've had the pleasure of playing.

When it comes to the blues nothing beats a strat????!!!! You are a goose. The blues has little to do with the guitar. I've got em all, and set up the right way they all sound good depending on the song.

Strats, Les Pauls, Rickenbackers etc. etc.

Blues comes from the heart.

I just came across this video looking for reviews for the SG Classic abd I got way more than I bargained for. I'm not sure what is more amazing, the sound of the guitar or your playing. You truly have a gift and obviously didnt let it get away from you. I hope you get payed for your playing because a lot of people out there need to hear you on c.d. I cant remember the last time I wanted to learn a song so bad, where did you get the background music? And all this soung was from a bad monkey? WOW!

Lockpicker2k. Not only does Epiphone craft better way under priced Guitars than Gibson Epiphone is much bigger than there parent company Gibson Corp. Epiphone would survive and thrive with out Gibson. Could Gibson do the same? not a chance in hell buddy.

Great job. But the Epiphone 50th anniversary 1961 sg is much better than the gibson model hands down. Today's Epiphone guitars are some of the very best crafted guitars on the planet. Epiphone = top quality and way under priced. Gibson = WAY OVER PRICED
