All of them claim that catalepsy can be induced not in the way Derren does but hypnosis works on about one third of people. @missymiapat I agree, what a load of shit. Who on earth would hit a button 1 second away from earning 500 quid. You'd have to be mentally retarded, not just susceptible to persuasion. I would have hit the button straight away knowing it wouldn't kill the kitten as it is very much illegal and has NEVER been done on British TV (like he suggested).
