These dog experiments were very important, they led to doing organ transplants in humans, starting in the 1960s

if you mean the one that was used for isolated organs and the isolated head, keep in mind that that experiment lead to very great things such as full organism revival and, eventually, organ transplants. just as well, keep in mind that it is very possible that the dog they used for isolation was going to be put down in due time anyways, and is perfectly happy in doggy heaven if you believe such things. It was a noble loss to science, not some evil experiment done for fun.

the only problem would be keeping the brain alive, safely removing it and finding someone who is compatible with that brain. the last part makes this idea nearly impossible. of course, nearly doesn't mean certainly.

My hypothesis is this. I bet that if we can do a brain trans plant, from one old body, to a young body. I bet that would be the key to eternal life. Think about it.

Pior, cara tem que ser muito sangue frio para decapitar um cachorro e deixar a cabeça viva.

the oxigen gets to the brain by the blood, and as you can see in the "machine" they do some kind of oxigen introduction into the blood

Eventually, yeah. When the U.S. tried the experiments, that was a major problem

wouldn't the (whole) dog have crazy brain damage due to oxygen not getting to the brain since it was... you know... dead!?
