My 2 1/2 year old bunny, Magic, jumps his outdoor course. He is trained in the sport of rabbit hopping. He loves long jumps and spread jumps.

  • its good of your rabbit to jump poles without fillers- i find that my 3 year old lop, Bella, runs underneith if there isnt a filler. she has highjumped 2.6feet before!

  • That's because I trained him to be able to jump without 'fillers'. At first I had to put 'fillers' in so he wouldn't go underneath, but he's been jumping for 2 years and so he knows now. To keep Bella from going under, you can make a cross rail like this : X. That will stop her a little. That's cool that she has highjumped 2.6 feet! Do you have videos of her jumping?

  • Thank you! Yup indeed you can! :)

  • I love this vid! I never realized you can train a rabbit like that! Very cool indeed. Great way to get exercise too! :)

  • Sure.

  • Oh right ok. If you find a way around it can you tell me, ok?

  • uh-huh. I have that problem trying to upload vids I did in Windows Movie Maker....

  • I have got other vids of my rabbit jumping (and one was really cute) but I cant upload them. It says "Can convert into video file"

    Did you have that problem?

  • Thank you. And yes it does. :)

  • Ok, fine. That sounds fair. Well, cute rabbit anyway.

  • Lol, not really wanting to go over that last jump there. Try picking him up and letting him go again, if he still wont go try tapping him above the tail, works for me and other people.

  • Ha! I can't imagine out 3 year-old French Lop doing that! He's rather relax all day.
