NICK'S P.O.V.
i turned and walked away, punching a car door then running when i realized it was the quarter backs truck. i started walking once i was sure he didn't see me. i was almost at joe's car when i saw him kissing some girl. then he walked away and got in the car.
joe: what are you doing? get in.
nick: how do you do that?
joe: do what?
nick: that girl was just kicking you in the dick, and now she's on your dick.
joe: yeah well, it's called swagga my friend
nick: i just got fucking rejected
joe: well i guess the swagga skipped a generation. kevs got girls all over him
nick: if it skippied a genneration that would mean that me and kevin have it and you dont. dumb ass
joe: you wanna get out and walk?
nick: no
joe: then shut the fuck up
NICOLE'S P.O.V
i got home and my mom was waiting at the kitchen table
mom: sit down
nicole: i have a lot of homework and a projec...
mom: nicole i said sit down
i rolled my eyes and sat down
mom: i got a call from the school today. do you know what it was about?
nicole: skipping detention?
mom: you were smoking on school property.
nicole: no i wasnt. no what happened was i...
mom: your grounded. one week. no tv, no computer, no going out.
she got up and started to walk away.
nicole: are you kidding me?
mom: add another week for skipping detention
i got up and went to my room. i sat down on my bed and looked at my phone. i had a text message from my friend cam. it said
"party at ryans this weekend. you going?"
i decided to call him to tell him about my mom. we talked for a little, then i decided that i was going to the party. i dont know how but i was going. after i hung up i heard a branch break then someone screamed. i went to my window, and opened it but no one was there. then my mom came in.
mom: oh yeah. no phone either.
i shut my phone off and threw it at her, then went back to the window.
