  • Those trade-in values make GameStop's look like pay day salaries by comparison. 10¢ for ActRaiser? Only $1.20 for the top game? What would they have given Mega Man 3, I wonder? $2? How cheap can those people possibly get? They're going to turn right around and sell those "Arino-Kachou-autographed!!!!" video games for like $50 a pop easy claiming (a) they're hard to come by (probably true) and (b) Arino's signature makes 'em collectors' items (also true). What a rip. Would not shop there now.

  • 10 yen for freaking Actraiser!? Seriously!?

  • パルテナの“手”鏡って言って無い?

  • @SuiginChou you forget that Japanese people normally live in smaller spaces. they do not have the room to keep extra baggage around, and old games are cheap to rebuy anyways so they have no value to anyone. the amount of cartridges floating around in japan is far greater than that of america. selling the games is usually not for money, it's literally just to get rid of them. it's better to sell them and know they might be purchased and enjoyed again than to just throw them away

  • @habanerospice The prices they ask of Arino (or anyone else trading in a game) may suit their resale prices but still: there's absolutely no point in selling a store 10+ NES games for what amounts to less than $2 total when instead you could hold onto those games, pass 'em on to your kids, and hope that they appreciate in value as collector's items some day. (Good titles 'cause they're famous, crap titles 'cause they're hard to find.)

  • @SuiginChou They sell the used NES games for like 2~10 dollars depending on the game, so it makes sense that they have low buying prices

  • @SuiginChou What you need to remember is that Famicom games go for next to nothing in Japan. In a previous episode Arino was buying brand new sealed games for as little as 300 yen (which if I'm correct is the same as 4 USD or £2.50 if you live in the UK). It is also used to be illegal to sell second hand electronic goods in Japan, they weren't even allowed to do rentals. It is only recently where it has become allowed.

  • @SuiginChou Word.

  • LOVE THIS SHOW!

  • @HHamza1989 It's most likely the last episode of that season. The show is still running with over 100 episodes. :)

  • Total WTF at Beautiful Soul playing at the end....
