@doughnutguy82 The 300 Savage was actually made to equal the 30-06 with a 150g. In reality it comes below the 308 Win. Never the less it is a potent cartridge for animals the size of deer.
The way this guy is bracing up you would think his about to shoot a 458 Mag – LOL

it its a 300 savage it has a .308 diameter buttle that usually 150 grain, thru remington. it was originally designed to be similiar to the winchester 30-30. its a fun, mid range hunting cartridge.

i agree! thats a light load and a light grain bullet. i shoot a browning with the 300 savage cartidge and its light enough my girl shoots it like a its a 22
