@ilikejoebobyo The Record is "Vinyl" and no it's a timecode meaning it behaves just like a Vinyl record you can scratch on it and everything, you just load songs onto it and it can play anything you have on their. And no records are meant to be scratched as long as your not slamming on it and too hard on it no you'll be fine.

I agree Traktor is the most versatile program out there but thats mostly him doing the work, not the software. Jumping between scratching and manipulating effects and cues with the x1 requires serious technical skills.
