People who use "Cars 2"'s snub as an excuse to be like "Pixar should get the message" haven't watched the film in the right light.

Pixar has longed passed the point where we, the audience, can really scrutinize and watch the film within the lens of our own expectations. Lasseter and crew wanted to make a fun, action-packed, yet still complex film and they succeeded.

The problem is that people saw the film for what they expected (i.e. a BAD film) and that hurt their view for the film as a whole

@GoldenFlither15 lol I did list all the Best Animated Noms plus 2 that weren't the only ones I discussed in detail were the two that WEREN'T nominated. Everything was just a simple title and synopsis/and or joke lol Its a normal subject, Biggest Award and the second type of feature award Animation. Tis all, sorry cant make you happy but this is how it was meant to be. Simple and to the point just like the actual nominee list, just gives you the titles.

I know, I know, just that the only thing you really "discuss" (sort of) is the animated features. The Best Picture ones you simply list, and if you're going to also even bring up the Best Animated Feature ones, you might as well list them all or something. Just a strangely laid-out video on the Oscar subject is all. Didn't mean to turn it into a big deal.
