  • LOVE THIS SONG!!! This most definitely isn't Parachute Club but IS Lorraine Segato and John Oates. I'm a driver for the transit system here in Toronto and Lorraine Segato got on my bus last summer...she asked if this bus went somewhere she was going and I looked at her and said "OH MAN, ARE YOU LORRAINE SEGATO???" She just laughed and was quite cool about the whole thing. Very nice woman.

  • god! they just don't make beats and lyrics like this anymore.... songs with a soul...

  • LOVE THIS SONG <3

  • @AngelaA81410 hey she was singing at jack laytons funeral yesturday. apparently they are still performing. good band . i had forgotten them.

  • @bobeee1969 Check out the clip of the video for this song that Daryl Hall introduced on MTV. The artist listed is "The Parachute Club."

  • I loved Parachute Club way back and was sad when they quit making music. Whatever happened to Lorraine Segato...what is she doing now (besides riding buses)?

  • These songs remain a tribute to Margo Davidson who sadly passed away May 17, 2009.

Margo loved her music but was a troubled soul.

    R.I.P.

  • Can someone PLEASE upload their awesome tune, "Love and Compassion"? THAT is one of their best!

  • @bigbrobuff Oh yes it IS The Parachute Club and is included on their greatest hits compilation. I'm not sure which "Toronto" you're from, but it's not the one I spent many years in. John Oates did a song with Lorraine, but it wasn't this one.

  • It has played on the radio a few times recently and was finally able to catch the title... The power it holds touches me every time even after all these years. And Canadian on top of all of that! This is great music, timeless, full of magic and truth. Thank you

  • you can see Billy most nights @ lula lounge in Toronto

he dj's there some nights and has a music blog
