  • but you were so smart that you asked what was so obvious. someone just pointed out for you smart ass.

  • this deal is vital to US interests. for those who did not follow this closely their was a lot more resistance on the Indian side than the US. In US it had strong bipartisan support. In India the government nearly fell because they went forward with this.

Kashsoldier is right. US is developing Democratic secular INDIA as a counterweight to CHINA. whatever Chinese can do for US, Indians can do better.

doing so much business with china is NOT in US best interest. We need to diversify.

  • India is not a threat to USA in terms to military. China is a threat to USA cause of china claims tiawan is a part of china.

  • wow sounds like idians are being used again

  • more right wing extremists. RightSquared. google them.

  • But were about to turn things around. If we make forays into manufacturing, we can capture a lot of our lost foothold over china.

anyways, I suggest you take a look at the GDP history article on wikipedia. IT IS A MUST SEE. You'll see Tell-tale evidence right there.

just google "GDP history wiki". Take a look at the GDP figures of each century (in the article), one by one and relate it to the political and demographic status of the top three GDP nations, you'll see history unfold.!!!!!

  • The next 30 to 60 years will see the might of two rising nations, India and China going head to head to be the NEXT SUPERPOWER.

Please take a look at the wikipedia article on the historic GDP of nations world wide. India was ON TOP right from the first century to the 13th century. in the 13th century, China(mongolian empire) with three times bigger population caught up with us. The British Empire rose above China in the 16th century after capturing India. Thats when India's downfall began.

  • The US will stop helping us when we get even or overtake China cos then, we'll be seen as a threat by the US. The best way to overcome this will be to maintain good relations with the US, while also NOT jeopardizing the great love and respect that we share with Russia. Thats a difficult thing to do cos the US does not really love the Russians(though it doesn't hate them like it used to during the cold war era.) We need great leaders who can win the trust of both the USA and Russia. Jai Hind.

  • Kashsoldier, I have great admiration for your neutrality in everything you point out. I LOVE your videos too. You have great patriotism, combined with respect for other countries as well. Thats exactly what we need. not war mongering comments in the name of patriotism that some people here make.

right now, India is behind China economically and in some aspects of the military prowess. The Us will help us bridge this gap, but we must remember that they will stop helping us whn we overtake China.

  • china and pakistan. Two unstable nuclear powers. You could talk in lengths about china and its economy, but remember-china is still ruled by one party government. China kills their own people without any mercy. eg Tibet, Xinjiang muslim population and Ughurs. Border disputes with china and porkistan. Yes, India is in a fragile neighborhood.
