I have been playing guitar and bass for over 32 years and I have Own many amps Tube and solid state and your right Cradleofflames there is a place for solid state amps, nothing does sound like a tube but I have a lunchbox and cabinet and this little monster sounds great i have used it at many shows and it stands up very well. This company is about to come out with a 12in model and I for one cant wait anyone who has not tryed the Zt should you would be amazed by it and what it can do and sound.

Did you ever stop to think that some people might like solid state? I mean the Jazz Chorus has been proving that for 30 years.
I think the point wasn't that the ZT sounded better but that the $600 amp didn't sound much different than the $2,000 amp.

its not racist its the truth , if they really want to compare a Hiwatt 200 with other amplifier , go and build an amp that gives you the same sound of the Hiwatt 200 with more options and quality and put a price of 600 usd on it , but giving us a small amp which cost us between the 500 to 600 usd that even not near the sound of Hiwatt and the only reason they put it because its loud?! no doubt there is no music now days like in 70's 80's 90's only crap music we hear every day

this is a Hiwatt 200 and you standing it against a zt amp? are you serious? if you don't like the Hiwatt 200 , i will take the Hiwatt and keep the zt for you , you know sometimes Japanese people have crazy things in their minds
