Harry blames Republicans for blocking healthcare, for slavery, and for blocking the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Except Abe Lincoln was the first Republican president, and 80% of the Senators filibustering were Democrats. Visit the National Institute of Prevarication at Prevarication.net

  • You are mistaken. A higher percentage of Republicans voted for the Civil Rights Act than Democrats.

The Democrats have become the most profoundly dishonest bunch I have seen since the Bolsheviks--and this is probably because they find inspiration in the same philosophies.

  • The same old play book. When the far left see there ideas are loosing support they always throw out the race card. You either support Obama 100% or your a racist.Harry Reid's poll numbers as it stands now shows his political career is over.

  • Obamacare was signed on March 2010 with 59% of the people disapproving according to a CNN poll. The CBO scored Obamacare on six years of coverage for 10 years of taxes, which is how the CBO showed the bill to be deficit neutral . It’s unconstitutional mandating all citizens to purchase health care. Even Pelosi said, “We have to pass the bill, so you can find out what is in it.” watch?v=KoE1R-xH5To It’s also meant to take over industry watch?v=p-bY92mcOdk

  • @dud3man6969 My generalizations were based on presidential voting patterns as well as delegates to Congress. Gubanatorial and statehouse elections are a bit different because the parties aren't considered beholden to "liberal interests" i.e. Pelosi.

Harry Reid's racist comment about Obama was that he said that Obama had "no negro accent" when Obama was first elected to the US Senate, in the context of suggesting that Obama run for president. In hindsight, the "racism" was prophetic.

  • @slimydick23 Really? You might need to do a fact check on that. Since 1964 Alabama has had 10 democrat governors and only 3 republicans plus the incoming . And Georgia has only had 1 republican governor plus the incoming, And he was the one who changed the state flag to remove the confederate image from it.

However Harry Reid has made racist comments about Obama.

  • Harry Reid is nothing more than a scared, ignorant moron. He is a total fool. No way is he qualified to be a senator. Or most democrats in office for that matter

  • The Republicans were formed(1850s) to create a stronger central government. Yup, big government. The Dems were conservatives then. As time has gone by the parties have changed their positions. In the 60's the dems were going through a huge shift. remember the 68 convention, the riots? The modern Dem party still has a small number of the southern dems (blue dogs) but mostly liberals. So what? Obstructionism is wrong, we need to fix problems not play politics.

  • you should slow down, and I wish I was the master and that would be to Stop, Stop what your doing harry, stop what your doing Nancy, and get out of office, and let some one take over your office and then Start over.

  • It's funny how slavery was ended by a Republican President. The Democrats filled the Antinbellum South.

  • The republican party at that time was the liberal party you stupid fuck face.

  • Abe Lincoln was the first republican president and after him the whole south became Democrat.

Civil rights act passed in 1964 over the VIOLENT objections of southern democrats and the entire south became Republican.

Abe Lincoln was a radical, he did not respect state's rights and he respected the worker's rights to unionize. He would NEVER be allowed to run for ANYTHING as a republican today. Calling it the party of Lincoln is a farce.

  • The only historic thing is that after the next election cycle harry reid will no longer represent Nevada. Now that is a good thing.
