  • Ah, it's gorgeous. The sounds mixing together with pizzicato in the background is amazing. I haven't actually heard the original song... Guess I should, ne?

  • It's like this is speaking to my soul. When music has the ability to transport you into another world, I believe that they have finally mastered the true art of making music.

Bravo Evanescence!!! Bravo Vitamin String Quartet!

  • simplemente.... impresionante, se me eriza el pelo al escucharlo

  • @shortebabodd25 hehe Thanks. You rock on as well! :)

  • @Sanguiluna I guess I should be more careful with my words. I completely forgot about Eminem, I actually enjoy his music. I think We both have good taste in music ;) and from stalking your page, we both have good taste in movies too. Keep on rocking bud!

  • @shortebabodd25 I'll give you that. Most rap today has lost the spirit that characterized it in its early days because most rappers don't have the life experience of their predecessors, with a few exceptions like Eminem.

I think the shallowness of music today has to do with both the increasingly shallow attitude of mainstream society, as well as the performers themselves.

  • @Sanguiluna Sorry if I offended you. Don't get me wrong, I understand real rap and pop. But the rap and pop of today isn't real music. its noise created by computers. And the lyrics are about partying, not real life problems. I think you'd agree with me when I say that music just isn't as real and beautiful anymore.

  • @shortebabodd25 You would have to understand the cultural context of the genre to appreciate it. Rap is so beloved, especially among African American, because back when things weren't so great for them (racism, gang wars and murders, etc.), rap was their outlet of expression, just as blues singers in the early 1900s used their genre to express their frustrations and hardships.

Try not to bash genres you don't understand or appreciate; that's just intolerant and culturally insensitive.

  • This is real music!!! I don't know how people can listen to pop and rap when the beautiful sounds of Evanescence are out there.

  • I was singing along during this! This is amazing!
