The parent club of the Erie Seawolves, the Anaheim Angels, played and exhibition game in Erie, Pa. on June 21, 1999. the highlight of the day was the Home Run Derby including Troy Glaus, Mo Vaughn and Matt Luke. Glaus' amazing total of ten home runs wond the day. Also included are interviews with manager Terry Collins, Randy Velarde and Matt Walbeck on their days in the New York-Penn League.

Question. Why did they do this? Play a game in Erie in the middle of the season. It's definitely a very cool concept, I'm just curious as to why they did this.
