from 'MACK THE KNIFE' I thought it said 'SMACK THE WIFE' but then again I guess I'm just a youngster in comparison with this time of music but I still love it

@Jerryjennett01 Bobby was born in 1937, sadly became ill as a child which severely weakened his heart, he died in 1973, complications from heart surgery, 37 years young but left us with these great clips! A great movie called Beyond the Sea starring Kevin Spacey is a must see.

This is from November 1959. Mack the Knife had gone to Number 1 at the beginning of October and was still Number 1 when this was filmed. He was 23. He had been on TV regularly for about a year before this, making appearances on Ed Sullivan and Dick Clark's Beechnut Show among others.
