One idiot in every bunch...how could someone dislike this? As good of performance as one could ever hear. Live, unedited, untuned, perfection. She is absolutely amazing and anyone who was able to hear her live on Broadway is truly fortunate. Her rendition vs. anyone else's couldn't be any better...the gal from Glee is close but not better.

Good Lord, I forgot this ever happened!

I never noticed she has a bit of a lisp. I thought I was hearing things in her Celebrity Apprentice interview but from listening to this it is for sure. I am a few years older than she is so I was not much of a fan back then but she is surely a very talented singer.

My God, Tiffany, Deb's rival can't even BEGIN to come close to deborah in beauty or in vocal skills. Deborah is simply amazing, My God. Her voice so child like & pure but so trained & adult mastered. She is definitely one of a kind & to those that try to compare her as the "Britney" of the 80's are obviously out of "tune" with what real talent was back then compared to now. Absolutely AMAZING!!

Yes, I own that album. I was lucky enough to get her to autograph it when she was doing a signing in NYC. I agree that both the "pure" version from the musical and her rendition of it for the album were both amazing.

Have you heard her version off her "Colored Lights" album? It;s magical!

I loved hearing her sing this while she was on Broadway. I don't think anyone sings this song quite as well as she does. I really wish they had made an official soundtrack with her as Eponine.
HER VERSION OF SINGING THIS SONG SOUNDS AMAZING LIVE AND ON HER COLORED LIGHTS ALBUM,TOO.
