  • I can not paint wet on wet no matter what I do. The color underneath just mixes in and picks up on the brush. I'm getting really frustrated. Any ideas anyone? Maybe I should just switch back to acrylics?

  • @kfafnis Hi ya mate its a common thing to happen for begginers because you need to have the right equipment and brushes for the job plus you need to learn how to blend very gently at times and other times you need to be firm, ive lots of paintings that teach you how to blend without mixing the colours together so take care mate

  • @Micart33 : thanks for the reply..i have been watching bob ross styles of painting and your paintings are now a source of inspiration. Your paintings are fantastic!

Btw, Could liquid white be replaced with anything else? I have seen that some people suggest linseed oil. What do you suggest?

  • @jflt999 i use a 1 inch and two inch varnish brush it has natural bristles, you can get them cheap from any hardware shop.
