The MS-20 is very useful for creating weird sounds, like some different types of 'bubbles'. Without using any patches the modulation generator can be used for three different types of frequency modulation (also combined):
- highpass filter cutoff frequency modulation
- lowpass filter cutoff frequency modulation
- VCO frequency modulation
Of couse many varieties can be made by changing waveforms and frequencies for oscillators and modulation generator, but that'll up to you...

@DemonInTheWall If you can't buy a solid one, get a software one. The Korg Legacy Collection makes a pretty decent simulation for your computer. Everything an MS-20 can do and more. Go to 3dubyas-dot-korguser-dot-net and you can buy any or all the analog synthesizers on offer for really cheap. It's worth it to have them all, and they all sound gorgeous. They play as stand-alone and as VSTI in your sequencer. Just the most superb collection, as good as Arturia's virtual synths.
