the orion HCCA woofer has a 4"voice coil, so this is a very big sub. And I pushed him approximatively 3500wRMS to this woofer

@Schism1000 cif you want you can put like 3200 and it will still be fine.... it says 2000 rms but its underrated by alot

Hey man, I have the newer model Orion HCCA 12.2 .. Just how many watts rms can I put to this thing? And what would you recommend for a good amplifier? I'm having Fatbox make me a custom box for it, to Orion specs.

@L00peey .. you do know that these sub are reconeable? Even tho its reconeable, these sub will take the abuse and can withstand hours and hours of max volume.
