late PPS: And CCC isn't "stupid" because the high isn't as good. I want to clarify that it's stupid because it has other active ingredients that will fucking kill you... It's the same with syrups that have other active ingredients besides DXM as well... But still, there's something else in DXM syrups that gives a very different feel to the high... Maybe it's alcohol, IDK.

PS: Using Trip C's is stupid. Syrups are disgusting, but the high is totally different (and much more condusive to exploring ones mind, at least for me). I don't know what it is about pure and mostly pure DXM preparations, but the "clean" DXM high just does not allow me to "get lost" in my mind. It just makes me think of a million things at once with no time to process the info and leaves me feeling emotionally blank and very bored (but devoid of anxiety at least).

DXM can be a very wonderful, positive (and, yes, enlightening) drug. It's done amazing things for my anxiety and aids in self-therapy and the retrieval of suppressed memories.
I never really saw DXM as "recreational" as much as therapeutic... Point being, it's not as if DXM tripping just, like, so hardcore.
